Need North San Diego County service recommendations
I just relocated from CT to north san diego county (live in Vista, work in Carlsbad). Right now I just need an oil change (B1 on maintenance minder) and a smog check, but I'd still rather take it somewhere good even for the small stuff, so I know where to go in the future.
Using Google maps, this place was near my apartment, anyone been there?

Worse comes to worse you can always take it to the dealer, though they can be a bit overkill for just an oil change.
According to the flyer I got from my dealer a few days ago, an oil change goes for $35*. I've always taken my car back to the dealer (Hoehn Acura, 5556 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad 92008 [760]438-9599, M-F 7:30-5) for services. They've treated me decently.
I used to live in Vista but I never went to that service shop so I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
*Flyer claims this rate is good through 1/27/07. YMMV. "Oil Change" includes replacing the oil, filter, and plug washer and inspecting fluid levels, wiper blades, and tires. Also includes CAR WASH AND VACUUM! (their caps and exclamation). Other specials include Brake Special including Rotor Resurfacing ($35 off), and Major Maintenance (10% off).

SD North County Service Recommendation
Premier Auto Services in San Marcos - on San Marcos Blvd. has been a great place to get our other Honda serviced. Have only owned my TSX for a week, so I don't have any experience with them and an Acura - but they have been very cool with a variety of services for our other car. One would think that a dealer would want your business if someone moved in from out of town. Couldnt hurt to hit the local dealer up to see if they will give you any specials on oil changes.

Thanks for the replies guys, but I started this thread in November. 
I have sense gotten my oil changed. Twice! Went to the dealer (Hoen) for B1, and just went to a chain the second time for the simple oil change because i was lazy and had a coupon.
