Need help finding navis =(

I can't seem to find a 2006, let alone any year navi, anywhere around nyc...I tried the internet searches and I'm wondering how whoever did find a navi found theirs. When i get home for break i guess i'll start heading over to junk yards. I was tempted to buy it straight from acura but for some reason a navi with a stock car is +2000 at purchase, and a navi in parts is +5000 in parts....thats crazy markup! I don't really know the process of putting in the navi other than reading your guys forums. I assume I need - DVD, Screen console, Top instrument clock thingy, and handsfree buttons? The harnesses i'm aware can be bought for around 100 bucks and/or made with wiring of your own? I'm pretty sure im good with mechanics as I'm pretty handy when it comes to fixing things. Now, just need to figure out how to get these parts. Can anyone on the east coast help me find a 2006 navi in black / silver?

haha you cant buy the harnesses for 100. if that was the case I would have done this a long time ago. they cost like 900 for the one and 600 for the other.

Did you search fleabay? I saw a writeup here about someone who did it to their TL, if I'm not mistaken. Just search for it.

Ok I hafta know - how could you have 750+ posts on this forum and know know what "fleabay" is?? At least I got a good smile out of reading that.

If not fleabay, then how about "Ebay"??

Good luck on your navi install. I wouldn't attempt it, but it looks like several have been successful. I'm glad my '06 already has it....

Hope you'll keep us all posted on your effort.
