Need help on Color...

Guys, yesterday is good day here.Nice weather, good temp.I went down to Richmond Honda and checked out the Accord.
There were one 4cyl EX in the show room.I sat in it,after 5 minutes,I walked out of the dealership.Hands down,TSX wins! I found out for me,accord upholstery is just.....kinda cheap, hard leather, less touchy, especially the cup holder....I was like when I saw them. That's just for me maybe, but,I didn't even bother asking for a test drive and left...with no regret. '
I headed out to Richmond Acura after that, and stayed there for 1 hour just to pick the colors............By the time that I had to leave to pick up my wife,I still didn't make up my mind .
Every color looks cool to me.We only have 5 colors available here in Canada. Pearl White,Black Pearl,Royal Blue Pearl,Graphite Pearl and Silver Pearl.
White is nice, many people drive white in Richmond, since it gives people a "wow, look at that!" feeling.
Silver is also good,a very popular color, easy to clean, easy to hide scratch and dirt.
Royal Blue looks kinda unique, but I haven't seen one myself yet.
Graphite Pearl I guess is the Carbon Grey.Looks good, but can't really justify...
Black was my first choice before, but, since I am getting black interior,so.....I may not wanna the car to be over black. So,leave the black aside first......
See,now I don't have a first choice or second choice at all.I go clueless now...Wanna throw some ideas on me guys?
Any input is to be appreciated.

A vote in for black, if you're willing to wash and wax it.

Check out my thread called Excited -Royal Blue Pearl - It looks like a Jewel.https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=27423&page=1
Lots of pics there. It is a great colour, very rich looking. I have had many, many comments on it. It is a dark colour so it does require a little more work, but I think that it is worth it.

I'm a fan of the Alabaster silver and the PWP as well. Here is TSXdawg great pics of his alabaster silver TSX https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28357

Well I'm picking up a graphite this week. My last (current?) car (04 TL) was black - looked great when clean but tough to look after. Before that I had silver (00 Integra) - looked great even when dirty. So now I'm in the middle . Silver seems too common these days. I though graphite might not show the dirt as much as RBP. But I must admit there are not too many RBP around - in fact it came down to graphite and blue - and I would've had to wait for blue. I don't like to wait (too long).
Good luck.

I have a white '06, and I love it. It doesn't show dirt as much as my old car (which was dark green), and I think it just looks very classy.

That's only when you drive a white car after Labor Day, otherwise white is acceptable.

White by far. Black hides the curves and silver is just everwhere. White is stunning - and with little salt, snow on the roads in BC the white won't get too dirty.

I understand your dilemma. I had a heck of a time choosing a colour. For me it boiled down to PWP, ASM or RBP. To be honest, I would have been happy with any of those colours. The TSX looks good in any colour. I had flip flopped between all 3 colours so many times. It came down to this:

PWP is a bit too common in Weed capital...errr I mean Vancouver and would be difficult to keep clean.

RBP was really nice but I noticed that even some of the brand new TSX's on the lot were showing some very fine swirl marks due to it being a dark colour and swirl marks showing more easily on dark colours.

So it came down to ASM. I know silver is a very popular colour but I think there is a reason for that....it looks good!! It is also a very easy colour to keep clean and on a sunny day, the shine of an ASM is hard to beat.

My advice, choose the colour you think looks best. Who cares if it is common or hard to keep clean. I'm sure you will be washing your TSX religiously anyways.

Alright, after you, no more silvers, I'll start suggesting PWP to all those who ask.
