Need to connect to tach wire

Hey, I'm installing a Viper 5901 and have problems with the remote start part. It just keeps cranking and doesent know when the engine is started. I want to hook it up to the tach wire, but can't seem to locate the ECM. I know it's in the center console on the passenger side, but I can't figure out how to remove the ridiculously large piece of molding that's covering it up. Any advice on how else to get this to work. Virtual tach is being worthless right now. Any help is appreciated!

The ECU is relatively easy to get to. Just use the link below as reference.

Ended up connecting it to the ignition coil wire in case anyone else is trying to fix this issue. Didn't do fuel injector since I didn't want to risk it firing inadvertently and damaging the piston.
