Navigation DVD with Extended Warranty

Is it true that you get the Navi DVD updates for free with the Acura Care extended warranty?

Can someone with extended warranty please confirm this?

Not that I know of. Bought the Acura 7yr/100k warranty when I bought the car and noone mentioned Navi DVDs and I didn't see it anywhere in my warranty paperwork.

My dealer told me that I would get the free Navigation DVD updates until my extended warranty runs out! I guess, I have to see that in writing before I purchase it.

That's a good idea. I've never heard of free navi updates before.

Before you buy the warranty from your dealer, shop around and get some other prices first. There are hefty markups on warranties so many online dealers are offering significant discounts.

i don't see why they would offer free DVD's when they cost around $200 I believe. I've never heard of it either...I would have just thought that they'd just leave us with our original dvd's since they won't break or fail on us...only bad thing is having info get outdated

I have acura's extended warranty...and like i said before, I was never told about this.....

I would have to totally agree with you, perhaps it was to trick me into it. Thats the reason I posted it out here to see if any of you fellow TSX owners have received the offer. I will go back to the dealership to pic up my tags & if they can give it to me in writing, I will get the extended warranty. I'm may still get the extended warranty but it just sounds like the best deal ever if they would give you free navi DVD updates!

The reason why I got it from my dealership instead of going online was that I could include it in the financing...I was receiving a low APR deal due to my credit rating
