Question navigation ????

where is the MPG,how many miles you have left, and all that stuff displayed? is it integrated in the navigation screen or the little message screen on top of it?

also- does the navi have its own trip computer/mile counter, etc apart from the one on the dash???

The information you are requesting regarding MPG is part of the list of choices available on the Navigation Unit itself.

You press INFO on that unit and choose TRIP COMPUTER from the list presented.

You will see Distance Traveled, Distance Remaining to Empty, Elapesed Time, Average Fuel Economy in MPG and a graphical representation of your MPG live as the car is being driven.

If you chose to reset on fueling then you can also see your previous history:

Hope this helps!

Does the non/NAV have any type of counter that does something relevant to the NAV e.g. MPG or how many miles left before empty?

do you know if the mile counter on the navi is the same as the odometer on the dash, like they share the same counter?...or does the navi have its own computarized odometer or something>?

Well, it depends.

Actually the odometer on the TC (trip computer) only shows the miles driven since the TC was reset. Therefore, it may be different than the dash one. Pressing RESET or opening the gas door when set on Auto mode will reset the odometer on the TC. Much like pressing RESET on the dashboard will reset the odometer there. They are independent.

I'm not positive but I don't think so because there would be no area to display the information. The TC is a perk of spending the extra $2K on the Navi.

The bar on the dash that the 2 cars share is only dedicated to Time, CD selection, and temperature.
