I have not put a deposit down.

I actually named my price and emailed it to several dealerships. I have seen some people to get it for around 27500 so I would see if they would take what I had to offer, if not then, I can wait. I believe I can get it for that price so wish me luck because I'm not going to pay more than 27500.

I wonder if these dealerships think I'm crazy. The only reason why I did it was because I know it's the end of the month and wanting to see if they're willing to push.

Questions:

1) What happens when the DVD disc gets scratched, or otherwise damaged, on a car with Nav?

2) What happens if the DVD disc is removed from the drive. What functions, if any, are lost?

The navi-DVD never comes out of the navigation unit in the trunk unless you are updating to a new- DVD. Plus you would at least lose the navigation function with no DVD.

I opted not to get the Navigation as my wife's 04 TL has the navigation system. The navigation system is cool but it too can let you down. A few weeks ago while trying to get to a work party we were directed to an address in an adjacent town. I had to call for directions and was the laugh of the party. House was 2 years old and not on a digitized road. Live and learn. So, I have ordered the DVD upgrade.

I agree that the navigation is a nicer look in either the TL or TSX. I needed the TSX just for my work commute so I opted not to get the Navi. No regrets. Now I don't think I would ever part with the XM radio (or Sirius) on future vehicles.

yes, and I guess as do most owners in this forum.
I guess you will just be cooling you heels until a salesman just as crazy to want to take that deal

Yeah....one dealer already emailed me back. His OTD price was $30,100....He was only giving me 750 off MSRP. I mean, seriously....

But from what I have seen, the avg is around 28500 for the Nav.

I'm looking at a Lexus IS300 also now :o

They're offering me a 02 IS300 for 23000 with 16,000 miles on it...

That's tempting also...

here's a quote from one dealer....

The best we can do on a 2005 TSX Silver/Ebony is $28,450.00 plus
tax, tags and documentation fees. Totaling $29709.50 out the door. Let me
know what you want to do. Thanks for your inquiry.

LOL, sav you may wanna think of all your questions and put them into one post.

KBB is not the otd, nor is it the standard. KBB isn't really used in the east as much. Use KBB as guideline, not as an exact pricing method. I generally find that KBB slightly overprices.

That seems decent. Your area must have lower taxes, because here is how mine broke down (Satin Silver Metallic, Ebony, Automatic Transmission, Navigation):

Before TT&L: $28,150.00
Drive-out: $30,148.36

That was figured before factoring in my $500 trade-in.

all these quotes you posted so far are WAAAAAY off your "27200" target so yeah they musta think you're smoking something if you actually had the nerve to ask for that price.

and one more...

They met my OTD price! but they don't have my color!

Thanks for your offer. I took it to our Sales Manager and he is responding with this. First, we do have a Silver with Quartz Interior TSX w/Navi due here the 2nd of April. The best I can do for you on the price is $28250.00 plus 3% sales tax , $198.50 documentation fee , $75.00 Tag fees and $75.00 for the wheel locks. I hope that this keeps us competitive, but I do wish you luck either way, and thank you for your interest. Feel free to call with any questions.

what state are you in? What is this $198.50 documentation fee? Also $28250 is $650 more than I spent for mine and my wheel locks were included. $75 for wheel locks? They are raking you over the coles. Find a different dealership. I wouldn't deal with a dealership that is acting shady and jacking prices on accessories that sky high, especially at time of delivery.

It's a lug nut (holds your tire on) that needs a key to take it off.
