Navi head unit can't come out

Does anyone know why I can't pull the navi head unit out? I have the three screws removed but it feels like it's still held down by something.

You should try and PM flopez82 he did a total non-navi to navi conversion.

There are also two screws holding it in underneath.

If i remember right there are 5 screws total that must be removed.

1 behind the hazard light
1 on the left side under the silver trim
1 on the right side under the silver trim
2 underneath the deck that you can only get to after removing the storage bin.

Hope this helps! Good Luck.

yeah thanks tsx...I used a mirror to figure out what was holding it down and saw two screws. Took it out and put some scotch tape on the metal that looks like it was shined with another metal rubbing it. So far it stopped that awful cricket noise. I'm leaving the car outside for the night and drive it tomorrow morning to hear if it comes back.

vianzonparty- Could you describe where you put this tape to stop the cricket sound. I have the same problem and wasn't sure if it is the bottom 2 screws I saw at the bottom or is the top ones? Did you have to take the nav out to fix the squeak? thanks
