Navi to DVD Cost and Quality

Hi. Yes, I have searched and yes, I found the long thread about converting navi to play dvd and watch tv. However, I just figured since that thread was so long ago, I should remain everyone about it by asking some questions.

1. How much total does it cost to convert the navi to play dvd. I am thinking of using a ps2 as a game console and dvd player. So excluding the cost of the dvd, what's the TOTAL cost (including the thing that allows video in and also the audio thing).

2. What's the quality of movie playback? I have heard the screen resolution kind of sucks.

3. Will this void my warranty?

4. Any regrets of converting the navi to dvd? If you didn't do it yet, why haven't you?

Thanks. If a mod feel like deleting this thread, feel free but I just thought we can start a new discussion on this since this topic hasn't been touched on in awhile.

Thinking of modding the navi by swapping out for a higher res screen. Anyone know the dimensions/resolution of the screen?

I think the video part is cheap $150? but I believe the audio/factory speaker connection to your ps2/dvd player is the pain.

Can't you just use the Aux-In (2006 only) using an RCA -> stereo jack converter.
