My TSX is Bad luck... but I still love it.

I got my TSX last april! hasn't even been a year yet....

My TSX Pics

So the first week I get it, this retarted 8yr old sees me drive it slow in front of a park, picks up a brick...pitches it in the front driver's door... I got PISSED... anyhow...dammage for for about 500$... his daddy managed to pay for it.

A month after, car was parked downtown... I was getting ready to go out... when out of nowhere this dude looses control on his bike on a high speed and bumps in the front.... HOOD, BUMPER and HID we're dammaged.

4 months after.... a guy turns in without checking his dead angle.... dammages my fender... and alloy wheel...

Last week. Car is parked on a redlite... this young girl...(not even cute). gets in by the back at 40MP on a nissan centra! Dyamn was I pissed.... I get out... her air bags are off, the whole front is smashed... passengers door doesnt open and is all bended... My TSX... the bumper is down!! and the exhaust system was dammaged...

I took it to acura dealer yesterday... they need to change the rear bumper and the full exhaust system and do some minor body work.... estimate comes to around 2000$.... and I dont want to call assurances to pay the higher rates... so ITS out of MY OWN POCKET :-( I'm 21..

Anyway, I was very impressed of how the TSX took this dammage... the rear car was completely dead... TSX 's only dammage was a bumper coming off.... some minor metal bend under the car.... NO DAMMAGE at all touching exteior body... and the exhaust system has to be fixed due because the other car run into the lower end....

Im seriously thinking of swithching this carr to a TL or something else... I had quite a few cars... and never hard those kind of adventures! ITS CURSED!

you might be mistaking something.. if it's not your fault, ur insurance rate does not go up. Her insurance will pay for you. hope everything goes well!

Rear-ending is entirely her fault. Your insurance rate should not increase.

I like the monitors, but aren't you worried about the one on the dash attracting unwanted attention? I could see it being an easy target for a smash and grab.

Be aware that in many states, if not most states, the Department of Safety will notify insurance companies of all reported accidents. And, it will be on the driver's insurance record whether you pay, they pay, or the other party pays for the damage. So, if the other party was at fault, and it is clear from the police report, then it should not effect your rates and there is no reason not to let the other party pay for the damage. If you were at fault, then there is practically no means to escape a hit against your insurance if a police report was filled.

In the province of quebec, the police is not the one saying who is at fault... its inscurence companies from now on.... so basically, how it works is that for sure my insurence company will get notified, however because there was no claim from me... they cannot raise my premium.

I'm turning 21... and already paying over 350$ a month for my premium... full time work is getting not enough! and plus those incidents it gets worst... thats why I dont want to take chances to get my premium higher for present or future... better loose 2k now then 20 k over the next 10 years.

I think it's only fair you get a free aftermarket exhaust out of the deal

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. I hope everything works out for you man.

Just looked at your pics again. Haven't seen them in a long time. Very nice!
Can you still make the front monitor mount?
Also, how is the Rosen DVD player?
