My navi saved me in Ontario!

I just went to the Toronto area this past few days - I had no idea that the US navi would work so well in Canada! I got lost a few times and the navi really saved me. I just love it and would definitely get it again in my next car!

BTW, there were so many TL's in the Greater Toronto area it was unreal! Also, there seemed to be quite a few Premium White Pearl TSX's around too.

Toronto is the motherland of PWP TSX's.

So what were you up to when you were here?

There is only 1 north american nav disc and it covers the lower 48, northern mexico and parts of southern Canada (Alberta, BC, Ontario, Quebec). It's mentioned in the nav menu and you can goto http://www.acuranavi.com/ and Select Coverage Maps

yea, i know what you are talking about, i am currently in canada, and just today i went to toronta to the CN tower. i got all the way from kitchner to toronto perfectly using the navi, even switched to the KM measurement. and u think there are more tsx's in kitchner/waterloo and toronto then i have seen in chicago. and yes, most are PWP, and ebony interior, sexy...... btw, instead of selecting thestate as illinois, i selected it as ontario, and then just did it the same way i would program the navi for an address in chicago........ i too was surprised that the navi worked in canada, ah?

Envy all of you with Navi.

I didn't get it because I thought I was good with directions but, I just saw my friend giving an order to it. I thought he went insane but, my jaw dropped down onto floor after what it did.

Anyways, well, it's not so hard to find ways in Toronto and I hope you enjoyed it here.

I love Toronto! It's one of my favorite cities in the world. I was just visiting some old friends who live there. We also went downtown to do some sightseeing. I typed in "CN Tower" and it popped right up on my navi screen! It's wonderful. I barely had to use any paper map for this trip at all!

If you needed navi to find the CN Tower you've got issues.

I'm 18 miles from the tower and I can see it from my window.

Well I'm glad you had a good time here.

Thats good to here. I will be in the Hamilton, Kitchener and London Ontario next month for 3 Pearl Jam concerts. I was hoping the NAV on my 04 TSX would come in useful up there.

The PWP is the most popluar color/colour in Toronto. I have the Graphite Pearl w/ navi and full aero kit. When winter arrives in T.O. all of the PWP cars will look extremely dirty. Bring on the snow and slush! And TL's are a much hotter selling car than the TSX.

Everyone at work thought that getting the navi was a waste of $$$. First, who cares. I have lots of it. Second, it is very useful even if you know the city that you are living in very well. Third, it is not only a maping system, but an address book and a yellow pages phone book.

We will all have navis in our cars in a couple of years. Then Big Brother can monitor us more thoroughly when we are in the car. Just think, we start speeding and Big Brother either mails you a speeding ticket or shuts down your car through the navi. Got to love modern technology!!!

Navi is no more trackable than you listening to the radio. Put your tinfoil hat on and enjoy the ride.
