Wow, he has some uber-rare cars in that collection. Big time

I would be afraid of being car jacked in just about any of those rides. I wonder if he has private track that he can wind them out on. Is that a yellow Porsche 959? That has to be one of my all time favorite cars. The Zonda is pretty pimp too. I like the F50 tucked in the corner. He probably has an Enzo by now.

Just some rich guy? Talk about understatement of the year! LOL, why is there a Smart car (that's a Smart car, right?) in the collection?

Wow. Love the pagani zonda in the first pic

I wonder how often he gets to drive these things. I'm sure he has his own personal track or regular access to one anyways.

If you ever drove in HK you would understand! One of my friends lives there and it is a zoo to drive around(he is wealthy but NOTHING compared to this guy) it is impossible to find a spot for his S55 in the city.

Another bizarre factoid about HK is that the highest percentage of Bentley's and I think Rolls Royce as well are in HK. Its hard to imagine that less then 100 miles from this guy's place there are probably thousands of people working for $69/ month.

Also note that in that same pic where there was a Smart that there was also a red Ferrari F50 in the background. Initially Ferrari only offered them on a 2-year (closed-ended) lease to keep people from just selling them off to make a quick buck. As if having a car that was one of about 100 wasn't cool enough for you, you have to go sell it to turn a profit. Why not keep a Ferrari that no one else can have?

Although he's got a shitload of money invested in those cars it's not like they are going to depreciate. If anything he's probably making money with those cars.

What's the chance that he would let me play basketball there? He probably has some fancy balls made of exotic animals skin...

By the way, I believe that yellow Porsche is 959. Just take a peek at the passanger seat, it's a bit "edgy" comparing to recent models. Also different windshield wipers and skinnier door handles. Besides, RUF CTR (RUF CTR-2, the one based on 933) doesn't look like that. Well, that's what I learned from playing GT3 on playstation 2.

Anyway, that could still be a heavily modified 993 too... Who knows what rich people do? It might be a VW Beetle.

Eh...the picture looks photoshopped. All the cars are diecast 1/18 scale. I have about 50 in my collection.

Actually, I don't know what that is. It's not a standard 959, because look at the headlights:
http://www.hadel.net/autos/html/d_pkw_porsche_959.html
versus

Those are the headlights from the 993. You can tell because they share the inset projector-light circle, as opposed to the old sealed beams of the 959. The 993 as seen below:
http://www.truspeedmotorcars.com/inv_pics/293_3.jpg

Also, there is a difference in the intake on the lower front fender, the fuel filler flap is set into the fender 993-style, versus the real 959 which has it in the hood, and there is no filler flap right under the rear driver's side quarter window, all of which can be seen in this picture of the 959 below:
http://www.mcarsweb.com/porsche/959.jpg

It appears that actually is a rebodied 993.

Seeing how there is a discussion about the true identity of the Porsche....you know, since no one knows what model it truly is, perhaps all his cars are REPLICAS made from kits.

The Lamborghini may very well have VTEC-i engine in it.

He can probably make money by selling the license plates alone. In HK, people actually bid on super rare license numbers. The bid can go as high as in the millions (HK$, of course, US$1 is approx. HK$7.80).

If i'm correct the most expensive number combination is 777 or 222 because it means good luck or sth like that, according to feng shui!

More like houseboy. I don't even want to think of the "chores" you'd have to do live with a guy like that. (Not that there's anything wrong with it…)

Actually, I think I've seen him on an infomercial with babes in bikinis on a yacht. Something about real estate?

It's not a 959... look at the door handle (and look at a real 959) and next to it there should be an intake hole (also the gas cap is missing).

Can you explain that to me? I was watching one of those Hong Kong mini-series (dubbed, of course, since I'm not Chinese) and a clock was given as a gift. The person was clearly upset, but I didn't know why. I thought she just didn't like the gift.

Are you sure you are not making these up?

The only thing that I can almost agree on is the clock as present thing, but then again, clock is never an acceptable gift for Chinese, wedding or not.

One of those Fung Shway things I think. I have a neigbour/friend who is not Chinese that pays a Chinese lady $150 per hour to come over and make the house Fung Shway acceptable.

What a f'ing moron and waste of money IMO, unless your Chinese and its part of your culture.
