my car got a some hate....

i don't know about you gals/guys... but i'm just wondering if you have had anyone vandalize you car. the other night, i found this long streak of lipsitick on my car. before that there were some pretty bad words on the rear windows (someone used their fingers to write them). i'm pretty sure the people were hating on the car because i'm generally a pretty nice person. i'm just wondering if its just me and the area i live in. thanks.

That sucks! I would be kicking major ass if I saw that happen. Luckily it's nothing permanent.

Expensive way of defacing a car. Lipstick is not that cheap.

I have not had vandals, but I did have an attempted breakin with a slim-jim. The car is being fixed this week.

Geeze man that sucks! Well look on the bright side....a key would have been cheaper to use and a lot more damaging.

Hey, did you just dump some angry chick?

Fuckin kids today haha even though im a kid but generaly nice unless you get on my bad side then i turn green. haha seriously if some one has problems with you they should be manly enough to take them up with you and not your car.

It's like the opposite of getting keyed. Your TSX got some ACTION when you weren't looking!

My baby was keyed pretty badly on four panels within 3 days of picking it up from the dealer. Turns out the crime was committed by our psycho landlord who thought somebody was parking in front of his house when he didn't know we had bought a new car. (Our neighbor, a young female schoolteacher no less, got her tires on her Jetta slashed multiple times whenever she parked in front of our building, and has never had it touched again since she's parked in front of other houses.)

I would hope that your pycho landlord has been charged, but I cannot imagine anyone having proof.

My pick-up was vandalized this past weekend. Someone used a screwdriver to pop open the side quarter window pane. They stole nothing, but the window pane shattered in thousands of pieces. I do have video survellience, but the camera was primarily overseeing the TSX in the driveway. My pick-up was on the street in front of my house, off to the right. The video shows a car pulling up to my pick-up about 1:00AM, stopping, proceding across the view beyond my driveway, and returning a few minutes later, again slowing by my pick-up. My pick-up is just out of view of the video, and the video's resolution is too poor at that distance to identify the car, its plates, etc. Another neighbor's car got hit too, so we don't know if the vandalism--<begin sarcasm>oh Dear, there must a non-stigmatic term for vandals. (Bleeding !@#*%^% is what I call them! People earn their stigma.)<end sarcasm>--was targeted or random.

It had been 10 years since there were any problems with vandals, so it's not like it's a high crime area. The police said my street was normally quiet. But in the whole SF Bay Area, the media have reported a resurgance of gang activity in various cities.

Thats not lipstic. Thats Milano Red tinted wax. Someone was trying to protect your ride but just couldn't finish the job. It was probably too cold.

My TSX got spit on pretty bad and it was so cold out that it froze by the time I saw it. It was all over the driver side door and handles. Sick bastards. Oh and I also found a long light scratch on the driver door, but it looks pretty light and too low to be a key scratch. Probably some dubass with a shopping cart or somthing. UGH.

Twin ding and scratches... To top it off, it was at a Microsoft garage. You'd think of all people, they'd have the money to pay for damages. Ugh.

I'm glad I sprang for an apartment with a garage. Of course, the doors are unlocked half the time while construction's going on (even overnight sometimes), but someone would have to go out of their way to come in and fuck with a car in a garage.

My TSX has the following blemishes:
  • Nasty twin scrapes on the back bumper from not pulling in enough before closing garage door
  • Wispy little scratches on the trunk lid from when I unwittingly set an 8-12 lb cardboard box on the trunk and slid it off
  • Wispy little scratches on the right side in 2 places-- looks like I drove by some bushes too close or something
