mp3 player connect to tsx

How is this accomplished? I used to have a tape deck in my last car, and connected my ipod from there. Sound quality was good enough, not great though. However as you all know there's no standard tape deck on the tsx, and I tried used this hook up from the ipod to an unused FM radio channel. The quality was horrid. Anyone have an mp3 player hooked up to their tsx? How do you accomplish that?

The 2006 TSX has a standard audio jack that plugs into the earphone jack on your MP3 player.

If you're looking for a more involved and more elegant solution and you have an iPod, there are a number of car audio specialists that provide direct integration into your stereo controls:

There is a 1/8" input jack inside the center console armrest right above the power outlet. Additionally, if you have a regular iPod, you can buy a seperate adapter which allows you to control the iPod through the steering wheel. All regular mp3 players work through the center jack though.

Has anyone tried the Neo Adapter? With this adapter, can the Ipod be controlled using the Navi screen like the 2007 TSX?

If you have an 04-05, USA SPEC Hon2 is pretty darn good. It plugs into the stock head unit and you can control the ipod with steering wheel controls. Also, it keeps your ipod charged and auto resumes when you turn on/off the car.

Crutchfield is also a good place to buy, because you get free shipping. With the $20 off coupons that can be found on the internet (don't think there's any available right now, but they do pop up quite often), $119 shipped is one of the lowest prices I could find:

Except thats not the one you want. If you have anything other than an 04 non-navi tsx (and most of us do) then you want the PA11-HON2y model. (note the 'y' on the end).
