Mileage Check In
What do you have for mileage on your TSX and how is it holding up?
I am at 61K (car bought in Dec 2004) and no issues. Two tires are still original and passed inspection....

Logged in 20,500 miles since 12/03. Past issues include dashboard rattle, front doors rattle and warped rotors - all fixed. Current issues - headlight condensation and sun-roof rattle - to be fixed this friday when I bring the car for regular maintenance.

'04 TSX purchased May 2005 CPO, ~25,000 miles now.
Headlight replaced under warranty (condensation). Front bumper mysteriously "unbolted itself" (not all the way) but was fixed free of charge. Some noise up front sounds like clicking or clunking in sharp turns and sometimes when I press the brake. Still have all 4 original tires. No other problems.

Just went over 15k to the date I bought it last year 12/04. Still on original tires with some slight moonroof rattling, but it doesn't bother me. I drive it like a grampy with the occasional beastly outburst. It's cleaner and drives better than the day I bought it.

I purchased a demo 04 with 9000 in March 05 (for $22,700 as cert used car) now with 25,500. Only problem was head unit stopped working after I installed dension icelink ipod kit. I removed the icelink and told the dealer my head unit spontaneously stopped working. They replace it for free. I now have a working ipod controlled via the steering wheel.

Don't know how, but I have a 05 with 7500 miles. I work from home so I did not rack up miles driving to work. I bought it 8-23-05. Good thing I did not get a lease Anyway, no problems yet.

Bot mine in Oct 04, just turned 24k. No repairs or warranty issues, starting to feel a slight pulsation when braking. OEM tires (which I hate) have 6/32" left. Only 4/32" to go!

2005 CG, bought it 07/02/2005.
It now was 10,350 miles on the clock.
It just had it's 10K service so there really isn't anything wrong. Over 90% brake life all around and the tires look good.
Aside from a rattle or two it's pretty darn solid.

Car is new to me (less than 3k miles) but it was originally purchased in 9/03 and has 39,900 on it today. No problems. I pulled all the service records from the dealer and the prev owner only had it in for required maintenance. Oh, and they replaced the center console cover once for squeaking. I do feel the driver seat slide a little bit when I brake real hard so I'll have them look at it during my next oil change.

Brought home with 6 mi on May 31. Has 15,490 today.
It feels like it just beginning to open up. It just flat out sings now. If its anything like my integra, it should feel this way up until about 120k.

Yup, 2 cars = TSX gets a some breaks. Nothing better than getting into the TSX after not driving it for a week.
What are you up to now? 650-700k?

Yeah, I think they ALL have the loose front seat thing.... dealership said "they all do that" and it was not an issue, however once launched into the steering wheel I may feel diffferent. You have to live with the creaks and squeaks.... mine has been in five times for various fixes and none of them last. The center console lighting blew out and the whole unit was replaced as well (and there lots of posts here about that problem).
Today I called the dealership to ask about brake life as I have 61.5K (miles) on the car and was told I would probably need pads with that mileage. I ended up taking it to Midas for an hour road test and free inspection. Their comments: "you do not need brakes... they look new". The joy of highway driving I guess...

42,500 Miles... purchased June 14, 2003.
things that my tsx has been through:
1. a lot of rattles (esp on the bottom of the steering wheel column. sounds like change shaking in your pocket)
2. the dashboard button lights didnt light up, only the navi screen lit up at night. (fixed under warranty)
3. new tires at exactly 42,000. the front were really bald... got some new yokohama avid v4s... now a dream to drive.
