MID Customization ?

Hey guys, I will be filling up for the first time today and wanted to ask is there anything I should do to reset my MID so that in turn my fuel mileage gets reset? I would check the manual, but I left it at home .

Also, how do I go into the MID driver preferences? I think you just hold the info/select buttons for 3 secs correct? I did that and it said that the driver wasn't specified. I believe you have to specify two drivers first right? How do I do that?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you hold down the bottom button only for the MID customize (select?)

Definitely read that thread.
But to get into the customization, you need to unlock the doors with your keyfob (to have the car recognize which driver). Then turn the key to 'ON', set the transmission to park if auto, set the parking brake, and hold down the 'i' button (NOT the 'Select/Reset').

Yea, that's what I did and I get the, "unable to determine driver..." I have remote # 1 and I made sure I unlocked the doors with it, along with the car on, ebrake up, holding info button....

Your keyfobs might be unlinked right now. Look at the back for instructions on how to link/unlink them.

I had to do this. It did not work at first, but somehow I got it to work. there is an option to have it reset everytime you fill up. I set mine to do this.

Your memory seats will work now, too, when you use the keyfob. Keyfob 1 = memory 1. Now if only the mirrors had memory...
Oh well, it's rare that anybody else drives my car anyway.
