Meteor Silver

So my husband totaled his 2002 rsx-s a few weeks ago. He has
broken ribs, arm and finger, but is on the mend.

We just ordered 2005 meteor 6 speed with navi. The dealer could
find only one in five states. Why does this color seem to be so
rare? The dealer will trade a car with the out-of-state dealer to
get us the meteor silver.

Also, I'd like to hear comments from previous rsx-s drivers on their
TSX.

It's so rare because it looks powder blue in sunlight...

It's rare because things of value always are

I like the way it glows in the sun, and I don't think it looks powder blue. Interestingly the quartz interior (which is supposed to be gray) looks blue with this color. Nice combination.

And I'm adding this post just to knock me over into triple digits. You know - simple pleasures for the simple minded.

I didn't know it was rare. I've seen three in my area ( or maybe it was the same one ). Haven't seen any red ones out and about yet and mine is the only PWP I've seen around.

My dealer in New Jersey had a couple of them. Not many in any one color com to think about it. I understand that there is a limited selection right now. I've only sen a handfull at any one dealer at a time.

Meteor silver looks more girly IMO. Sorry all you guys with this color. no offense.

Are you saying the 6 speed is girly ?

I've cruised through the photo gallery, but really haven't seen
good pictures in meteor silver. Does anybody have any?

I've only seen one, and it seems to be always driven by the same woman in the Long Beach area. As for Milano Red, there's one in my neighborhood that I see all the time, also driven by a woman.

I think Meteor Silver is the best color, and would have bought one if it was readily available when the time came. Just one or two in the dealer's lot since inception (that I'm aware of), and I've never seen one going down the road.

Girly color? Laughable. Maybe because it reminds me of a beautiful Maserati I saw once years ago, and should've purchased. Yeah, real feminine, that car was ...
Har. As if it matters.

Yeah it is pretty cool how the interior does have a bluish look to it when looking from the outside in. I probably would have went with this color had it not been for the fact that I already had a previous car which was light blue.

As for it being rare, the rare part is the 6-speed w/ navi. My dealer and I were talking a bit and he was telling me about how hard of a time they were having getting them since so little 6-speeds were produced and how that most of those didn't have navi.

I have a MSM - love the color. I do see them around town everyonce in while.

I agree with Bonzo - the 6MT, especially with the NAV. But, the MSM's are around.

It's a cool color because it's unique, probably 80% of all cars are black, white, red or silver.

Nice color! Looks real clean in these pics. How does it show/hode dirt in general?

Also...
cool guitars! I'm a huge Petrucci fan and try (helplessly) to play his stuff on my 6 and 7 strings.

Nice drums. I had the same pedal and cymbals. Are those A Custom's?

I find that it hides dirt really well. It almost acts like a silver.

As far as Petrucci, he is the man. I do not use the Ibanez P2 to much. I pretty much bought it to stare at. I play it just about every blue moon. As far as my Pearl Blue Ernie Ball Petrucci, That is my daily player. These are a lot more common than the Ibanez so I don't mind so much. I can't wait to get his solo album. I ordred it through his website. It should rock. What type axes do you play?

Thanks, Those cymbals are A series. The A customs sound great but are a pain to keep clean. I had all A customs and and switched to A series just beacause I had to polish those suckers every week. I need to update the pictures of my set also. I now have a 13 in tom next to the high hat for a total of 10 pcs.

I almost went with the silver, it was a close second to the CG, which I ended up with.

As an aside, did the dealer charge you more for having to find you the silver car? I don't like either dealership in the Pittsburgh area, and eventually went to Ohio to buy my TSX. I wouldn't past it past either Pittsburgh dealership to pull something.

I agree Petrucci is 'da man! See my username for an idea.
Seen DT in concert about 10 times, every show in Boston area since back to the Awake tour.

My axes are Vai machines. Jems and Universes. 7VWH, 777DY, UV77MC and UV777GR. VHT Pittbull head cranking though a 2x12 cab in my living room. Not in a band anymore but love to crank it up get the arm hairs moving once in a while!
Going to see Vai in Boston on 3/31 at the Avalon. I expect to be jaw-droppingly blown away....again! hahaha
