metallic trim of bmw 7 series on tsx

One of the most irresistible part of the aesthetics on a BMW 7 Series for me is the metallic/reflective trim that runs across the two sides of the roof of the car.

I love metallic-trimmed windows, and so I love the design of the Acura TSX windows... but... has anyone here modded/painted the trim along the roof of their TSX to be metallic?

If you have, I would definitely love to see it.

I wonder if it's even possible without replacing it with a custom molding. I don't know if there's shiny metalllic paint out there to do it yourself either.

Anyone else think it would look really nice on a TSX?

Although the TSX does not have a Uni-body frame for the roof + rear fender, the lack of a chrome strip makes it look like a uni-body which IMO looks more sporty.

So Nay on the chrome strip. The OEM chrome on the doors, grill and door handle is sexy enough.

I think the chrome looks good as is. It's fine in moderation, but when you see it overdone it looks like absolute trash
