Hey, no problem here. It never gets old being reminded that a very smart guy, (with unlimited resources and options in cars), made the same choice we did.

A side observation: from seeing photos it is clear to me that he isn't one of those guys who just doesn't really care about cars and happens to have a TSX. (Like many computer/tech guys who 'slum it' in dirty, unwashed Civics & Camrys, jam-packed with computer cables, books, papers, etc.) His car is immaculate and always clean. To me this says that he cares about this car and actually likes it.

it is tied up in assets, like how you have money tied into your gas station, and can't exactly get ahold of it easily (without basically selling it)

^Ok I get it now , but dam , 6.9 billion being tied up in assets is a lot . He also mention that a lot of the money belongs to his share holders , he said only a small fraction of that money is his , so I guess he's not that rich after all.

Facebook Inc is still a privately owned Co. but they plan on making it public traded with an IPO.



Although Facebook isn't traded publicly at NYSE, they do offer shares privately on SecondMarket.


Currently, Mark Zuckerberg owns 26% of those shares which explains partly why he doesn't have "access".

i think most of the "rich" people have alot of their money tied into assets, especially ones that can make them more money in the long run

If you troll some Philippines forums, there is a western (American?) guy who keeps a harem of about 6-8 chicks(?) and posts tons of photos of them... on no more than a few $k per month.
