ok i have a 3.0CL, my aunt has a i think 04 TSX so this is why i'm posting here.

does anyone know how to shut off the maintance required light i guess inside the car. i know i did the search but i couldn't find anything. so if you guys can help me out it would be appreciated. i don't know anything about the TSX. thanks

 

It's in the manual. I forget the exact sequence. I'll try to dig it up. The search might have failed because you spelled maintenance wrong.

Its the same as the accord, with the key in the off position press and hold the trip/select button, turn the key to the on position(do NOT let go of the button). After about 10 seconds the light will either flash a few times and go out or it will just go out either way you were on the right track.

and if it doesn't work, make sure your headlights are off

 

I think disconnecting the battery for 10 min. will do it. Er .... or was that to reset the CPU .... ah crap, I don't remember.

 

It's in your manual. But i believe you turn the key to the "on" position without starting it. Then press and hold the button on the dash or something that usually resets the mileage.
Not sure of the exact sequence either. But it's in the manual though.

 

I just did this very thing yesterday.

Turn the car to the on position. Press and hold the button on the dash for about 10 seconds. The maintenance light will flash and then go away.

It is in the owner's manual too.
