Manheim and Hello...
Hello!
I am a brand new member here and I have a couple questions. Background: I was rear-ended a couple of days ago and my 2004 Accord coupe was totaled. I am going to be getting around 13k from the insurance company and would LOVE to get a TSX. So, question 1: Can I get a TSX with under 110k mi. for around this price? Question 2: does anyone here have access to Manheim auto auctions? If so, could you see what some 04's are going for? Or, if you can, shoot me the login info so I can do the grunt work I look forward to being an active member of this community once I get my TSX!!!!
Thanks,
Jared

I just did a very quick search on Edmunds.com for my area for 2004 TSX and almost nothing came up under $20K, and those that did were $19K. I think you're going to have a hard time finding a TSX for that price regardless of miles.
Remember a TSX is price-equivalent to an upper end Accord brand new (high 20's). A TSX will not depreciate 50-60% in three years, which is what would have to happen to get to $13K. If that's your price, you may want to look at an RSX if you want an Acura. Or, take the hit on a small loan.

For the price you are looking to pay, you're going to have to be around 70K.
How would you buy at Manheim is you don't have access to their website? Even if you could look at what has been run there, they break cars conditions down to above average, average and below average. When you look at their website, you have to take everything with a grain of salt. You may find one that went for 12K, not realizing that it ran troung the autcion with 2 doughnut tires on it. You may see one that went trhough with 80K miles on it but sold for 17K, not realizing that the $5000 in stereo equipment was what made it worth so much.

Thanks for the link... That car definitely looks great. I will give him a shout and see if he's is any more flexible with the price.
Yeah, I know that I couldn't buy it from Manheim without being registered but I have a friend that has his dealers license but he isn't registered with Manheim. I just wanted to know if it would be worth the time for him/me to register. I live near the Kansas City location so it wouldn't be a problem to go and actually see the cars on the block.

I have a 04, 90K miles 6Speed + NAV. NAV doesn't work for now, but I'll be sending it to alpine for repairs tomorrow. It should be back in about 10-14 days. There are some fine scratches here and there and some wear on the edge of driver seat. I'll let it go for around $13200 with navi fixed.
I don't know if You're in to a manual transmissions or not.

I'm not a dealer, but my friend is and has access to Manheim. He says that car like mine with 83Kmi was sold for $12000. Plus Auction fees + dealer fees + tax it'll come out to more than 13K.
The car is located in Brooklyn, NY
I just bought it for myself, but it's too slow for me.
My friend says that none of metal body parts were painted. I suspect rear bumper was.
It is silver with black leather

It's not mine - I just sent You what I found. Since I'll be looking to sell when I fix NAV.
Navi is OEM, it's made by alpine fir acura. it has acura part number on it and alpine sticker.
Where should I send pictures?
Also, where are You located? I think it's better to see/drive the car in person than have 100 pictures.

I'm in Kansas City, Missouri so I wouldn't be able to see it in person. If you can send those pictures to cameron.jared@gmail.com.
Thanks

Pictures sent. Did You get them?
I tried to show u all dings/scratches in close up pictures, but it's been raining here for last couple of days.
The car is in great condition for this year and mileage.
