makes me sad
So i go to the mall today to buy a few things and i come out and I almost faint. It was a hit and run and the person that hit it didn't even leave any info.
Makes me sad to see that some people only care about themselves.

Contact mall security and ask them if there was a camera that taped the area in which you parked. Then ask how much it will cost to get a copy of it.
Sorry to hear the bad news and hope the cost of repair is not too much.

People at the malls don't really give a crap for other cars. Last week I parked at this spot in the back. When I was about to open my door to get out, this Mercedes SUV decided to park REALLY close next to me on the passenger side. So I thought to myself, if I just stay in the car then the driver would most likely not hit my car. BUT.. she opened her door and tapped my passenger side. I was so shocked that I couldn't do a thing but stare at her.
Sorry to hear what happend with yours.

It sucks that there are soo many people who don't care about other people's property!!!
Sorry to see those pics - hope things turn out good.
Just last week, at the Beer Store, I waited in the car because I know people in that parking lot are crazy. Some guy in a truck parks beside me and I just stared at him (thinking - you mofo better not even breath on this car). The guy must have thought I was crazy :angryfire , cuz I probably had knives in my eyes. He slowly opened his door - had a hard time getting out of his truck.
It's sad that had to look like a maniac so that he would be careful.

Here's a story... Not too long ago, I went to a local mall with my wife. She just wanted to pick up something really quick so I decided to wait in the car for her. I was sitting in my car listening to some music, and noticed this guy was walking back and forth between cars. He then got into this car, and proceeded to back up - the wrong way! As he was backing up, he managed to hit this truck behind him. I saw pieces of the taillight falling on the ground but couldn't tell from which car. I thought the guy would stop and inspect the damage but he didn't! He continued to drive away toward my direction, still going the wrong way. So I jumped out of my car and stood right in his path with one hand extended out signaling him to stop, while I had my phone in my other hand dialing 911 but didn't hit the talk button pending on his action.
I was mentally prepared to jump out of his way (but wasn't sure if physically capable
) if he didn't stop. So he stopped and asked what's going on? I was like, you've got to be kidding! I pointed to the truck and told him that I saw him backing up to it. I asked for his insurance and driver's license but he didn't have any. I then took down the info off his student ID and asked him to stick around.
We both waited for awhile hoping a mall security would show up but nothing. Finally the owner of the truck came out of the mall and I insisted the guy to explained what had happened. The truck owner inspected his truck and decided not much damge to his truck and everything was cool. My action might have been different if the guy was bigger, but he was much skinnier than me.

That happened to my Accord when we were car shopping for the wife's first car a few years ago, only mine was on the rear bumper and they knocked the turn signal light out too.
I ended up paying to repair it out of pocket $700 b/c my deductalbe was $500 so what was a few hundred more.
And the local Toyota dealer where it happened didn't help me at all.
