maintenance reminder
You can reset the oil reminder at anytime and there is nothing wrong with changing your oil early. The only thing is you don't know what future 1-6 scheduled service is due next until it is displayed at 15%-0% on the oil reminder if you reset weeks apart. You might end up skipping a future service if you reset too soon before the next oil change. I'm not 100% sure on this. I have +430,000 miles between my 06 TSX, 08 RDX, and 11 MDX and I stick with the resetting the oil when it is changed.
If it was dino oil I would change it but it is synthetic...no reason to change it this soon. The computer doesn't know the difference. I have 345,000 on 1 car and well over 1,000,000 total on all of them. I tend to drive them till the wheels fall off and that happens long before the engines wear out.
