MAINT REQ'D light
Hello fellow TSXers, this is my first time posting here on this forum but have been frequenting this place for the past one year. I've noticed today that my MAINT REQ'D light blinked 11 times everytime I started the car, is this normal? I thought it usually blinked about 5 times. I hope this doesn't indicate any serious problem that is waiting to be discovered soon. I tested the car by starting it like like 10 times just now and all the times 'MAINT REQ'D' light blinked 11 times before shutting off each time I started the car.

Also, the car is a 2005 TSX and has 7900 miles on it. I had my first service done @4900 miles

How many miles do you have on your TSX?

Seems odd. Mine doesn't blink nearly that many times. Maybe when your first service was done, the light wasn't reset?

no idea. Looks like my car is approaching End-of-Life , 2007 Lexus IS350 here I come

just reset it, sounds like they didnt reset after your service. its based off mileage, not the same as the check engine light.....
