I don't know how this happenned, but I'm missing a lug nut off my rear tire. The rest were bolted on pretty well so I'm guessing someone didn't have one so they took mine. I drove a couple hundred miles with only 4 lugs on and nothing went wrong, so should I order another lug or just buy that wheel lock kit?

 

just buy one to be safe

 

If you don't have wheel locks, you may want to get them. Especially if someone is taking your lugs. No telling what else they may take........

 

just go to a dealer and ask for one. they probably have a mountain of extra lugs due to installing wheel locks.

 

^ What I was hoping for. I looked online and they only sell them in bulk of 20.

 

my four extra lug nuts were in the glovebox when i bought the car, and the four locks were on my tires, so i don't think they keep the extra nuts.

 

In my case the dealer kept the four nuts they took off when they installed the locks.

By the way, one of the original Acura nuts in my car is rusting really bad. Not sure why... In any case, next time I go there I'll be asking them to give me the 4 they took from my car when new.
