Low Beams Flickering
Low Beams Flickering
Hey
Not sure if this has been discussed or not. I just dropped my car last saturday and the ride in my car is more bumpy than stock.
Today when I was driving my right low beams started flickering and turned off. I just drive back home without the headlights on. I just turned them on again in the garage and both the low beams are on now.
I have the KAIXEN 6k HID bulbs that I bought frm Excelerate about a few months back.
Do you guys think it is the bulb or do you think the ballast is loose from the bulb?

theres like an annoying beep on the passenger side of the headlights
sometimes the light turns on sometimes it doesn't
sometimes when it turns on it flickers a bit then stays on.
i poped the hood and checked the connection it seems fine but there is a terrible smell near that area along with the long constant annoying beep (EEEEEEEEEE)

eeeeeee = the igniters... u may want to check the contacts on ur hid bulb... the lil pin in the middle of the back of it.... on one of mine... during rain.. got fked up and melted! causing my hid to flicker... grounding could also be an issue.. be sure that lil ground is on the tab completely
I just had almost the same problem, I just bought a set of the 10k hid bulbs, the day after I bought them the right side would flicker a bit and then turn off. I also heard that buzzin noise from the ballast. I then swapped the right bulb to the left side. Found out it was the bulb. Try the same thing just swap sides, c what that does.
i checked the passenger side
the back of the bulb was partially melted. the plastic part.
thats where the smell was coming from. i swapped sides for the bulbs and its working okay right now.
why would the plastic part of the bulb be burned??
this is only on the passenger side.
the connector itself seemed to have some melted plastic on it and looks burned too
what to do!!!!!!!1
