looking at an 05 tsx. opinion needed
Eversince I saw the tsx on the street I told myslef ima get it one day, I saw an sliver 05 tsx no navi with 119k for 10g? I was wondering is it worthed.. I don't have a lot of money since I'm only 21 and just have a kid so .. I talked on the phone with him and he say the lowest he go is 9.. I'm pretty sure I can push it down more when I come test drive it. Also it a one owner vechicle and everything look clean as of it right now... How much would ya willing to spend on that.. Oh yeah it a 6speed also too, took me awhile to findd a stick shift tsx... Any opinion will be highly appreciated. Thanks
You should ask him if it's still on the original clutch. You might be looking at another $1500 or so if you need a new clutch, so factor that into the purchase price.
Other than that though, it really depends. If the guy was good to his car, 119K shouldn't be an issue. But if he was rough, it could be a bad deal. Personally, I think you should stay away from it, and continue to save until you can afford something with less than 50K miles (at least). I really don't like buying anything with more than 20K on it.

9k is a good price for the mileage, but you need to bring it to a mechanic and have it looked over before you buy it. Make sure everything is good on the car. Any problems are going cost you money, and these cars are not cheap to have work done if your not doing it yourself. You'll prob spend about $80 or so at a dealer to have it checked out, but it will save you quite a bit if they find something serious wrong with the car. Or if they find a lot of small things, which will add up. And def bring it to a dealer cause many smaller shops don't know these cars inside and out like a dealer would. Unless you know of a good shop that does a lot of work with Acura's.
