The longest 24 hours begins...
Well my CG/quartz/AT/no navi is finally in... 
dealer called me about 30 minutes ago to tell me the car had arrived. They cannot do the required detailing/maintence/whatever tonight, so it cannot be picked up until tomorrow. I work from 9-6, so around 6:30 pm tomorrow I will be pulling into the dealer and completing the purchase...
I am pretty much sure that the next 24 hours is going to feel longer than the 4 weeks it has been since I put a deposit down on the car... any advice on how to make the hours fly by? oh, man, work tomorrow is gonna be a killer!

Congratulations! I guess it's like awaiting the birth of a baby. I've lost track of how many people have ordered and picked up their new TSX's since I ordered mine nearly 60 days ago. Anyway, be sure to take baby pictures!!! Your car is almost like mine, except I'm getting Ebony and 6MT.

yeah, but luckily its AT, not 6spd... otherwise id be screwed... but 24 hours of porno might work... not bad idea....

congrats man!! You think you have it long. Here's my story.
-Called my dealer tuesday to place order, and he told me that it might come in thursday or friday. I called him thursday and he said maybe tomorrow (friday).
-Called him friday morning ( he said it might still come in, if not then definitely monday). Got my call Monday, thought I could pick it up then but I can't because they have to prep it. Then I was faxed the paper work and everything, planning to pick it up tuesday night.
-4:30 PM before I was about to leave work to pick up my car, calls me to say that finance lady isn't there. Can't pick it up weds (becuase I was busy), then finally thursday I got to pick it up. I LIVED on acura.tsx for taht week. Not that I don't already, but I just had it open all day at work.
Keep yourself busy, it'll eventually come. At least you KNOW the day and time instead of your dealer giving you that one week of delivery time estimate.

Dj.... i think I woulda been pretty pissed if I were you... I consider myself a pretty patient person, if I know what to expect. If you tell me it will take 3 months for the car, I will wait three months, but when that three months is up, I want the car...
in your case, when the finance lady wasn't there, that's when I really woulda been pissed... but after all, a day or two is a small price to pay when you are gonna get to drive this car for years to come...
After weeks of waiting, and only one very brief test drive, my expectations are extremely high for this car... from everything I am reading on here, I know I will not be disappointed when I pick it up tomorrow...

i feel so lucky after i've heard about the long wait for the TSX. i didn't really believe the dealer on how long it took to get a TSX, but after i've read some posts that changed my mind. I guess some of u guys have been wating months. I lucked out, since i got my TSX without waiting. Congrats on ur TSX. go and get some stuff for your TSX to kill time

I chose to go with the black, if not I would still be waiting for my CG till the end of sept! Lovin it more and more everyday! Tried to race a mustang this morning, but he punked out.

7 more hours.... stuck at work... this is killing me... not only do I not want to be at work, but the clock is going slower and slower and slower.......
