Legal Use HID
I have been doing some research to find out about HID light. Does anybody know whether the 8000k is legal or not? Some websites say it is and some say it is not. I do not know which to believe. Also, if having 8000k HID installed (let's say in any cars) is it obvious to tell that it is somehow more than 6000k ?
I am planning to change my fog light to HID 8000k to match my head light. As we know there is no projector on fog lights. That is why I do not know if it will be too blue or not.

i think you can tell a slight difference between 6000k and 8000k. 8000k would have a more bluish tint on it. my fog lights im using right now are at 8500k. they don't seem to blue and it looks perfect. even though my headlights are stock 4300k. my foglights do look brighter than my headlights but it looks good. anyways on my box it says that it is D.O.T approved meaning it is legal.

Can you drive around with your fog lights on or do you find that people flash their brights at you? I realy like the fog lights, but when I drive out to the sticks people seem to think I have the high beams on even with the regular headlights, so I wouldn't want to make things worse.
The fog lights on the 2g Integra were something I realy likes about that car, but a cop indeed pulled me over, and I had to dmonstrate for him how it wasn't a highbeam.
