LED Bulbs, Does it matter White or red for Brake?

I want to convert my rear light into led, but at superbrightled.com dont have any red LED buld. So it left me the only the white LED for the Brake. The site says to use red LED for red lenses. Anyone here actually uses white LED Bulbs instead? Any problems with the intensity?

Thanks

I would say check your tail light bulbs and see if it's white or red. That should help you make the decision.

As long as your lenses are red, you're cool. You just have to have red emitted for brake lights. I believe the bulbs on the TSX's tails are white.

I have LEDs everywhere possible except for turn signals and I used the reds. I have to say, I've had my LEDs from superbrightleds.com for about 8 months and my buddy got a set too. We both have been having issues with our LEDs staying on. Don't know if there is a quality issue or what, but I intend to write to superbright to find out what is going on. All LEDs used on the interior have been great. So far between the two of us, we both have 7443 bulbs not working and he has had 3 white 6LED 168/194 burn out. Again, these are all on the exterior, but bothersome none-the-less. Just be warned... Other than that, I love my LEDs.

Whew...maybe I'll wait to replace my lights with LEDs. Please keep us informed?

As an FYI, superbrightleds.com has a 1 year replacement if you keep the invoice from the purchase. If I have mine somewhere, I intend to return the defective ones for replacements. Just thought you all should know. I doubt this is something most other companies would do. Again, I'm very please with superbrightleds.com.
