King Motorsports TSX (C&D Review)

Not sure if this belongs here, in parts & performance, or photograph gallery.
It's a bit hard to read at the crease but all the numbers are there.

HAHAHAHAA i thought they'd make the TSX blast off somehow what a retarded project.
I'd rather get this thing supercharged for 4g's, kit for 3g's, rim/tires for 3g's haha. How the heck did they manage to spend 10g's only to make the car slower than ever?

The items in the mag are all Comptech parts according to the prices, not Mugen. No wonder not much gain.

unless king is having a clearance these prices sound like the Comptech parts...

the car is pictured with mugen exhaust and intake... and the car is slower? They say in the article 0-60mph in 7.7 seconds but in the side chart its 8.3 seconds... This article is more than dodgey and if 10 grand makes the tsx slower...

LOL

I was at the results. The times didn't grab me, neither did the 7-ft. less stopping distance. I was hoping for better results for $10K. Looks I guess.

Looks like handling got better, where the bulk of the 10K was spent. Livability, 0.9 on the skidpad is pretty decent.

I personally would rather see hondata and hytech come up with something like they did for the RSX here:

So they pumped up the TSX to nearly $40K and it's slower. Clever.

Hmmm, maybe they should have tried the IS 350 trade-in mod. I heard anyone can do it and it adds a V6 with 100 more hp, RWD and knocks off more than 2 secs on your 0-60 time.

ROFL, yeah I heard about that mod too hahaha, and i've heard of the 330i mod as well, but many people complain about the lack of MT on the IS350 mod

I agree the prices def. don't add up right at all. I wonder if we could hold KingMotorsports to those published prices?

16 second 1/4 mile? Ouch.

I wonder if they tested the car with 4 fat chicks in it...

I actually really liked the look of the car, though. I agree--could use some "real" mods, but in the cosmetic category--wow!! P.S. King motorsports is right here in my hometown--maybe I will have to go in there and ask for that intake for $169

I can kinda see where they were coming from in terms of "what can I do to spruce this up a bit without doing major work." That's kinda what I want to do with mine (when I get it  ) I really want to do some "minor" mods like intake and maybe brakes and then some cosmetic stuff like underbody kit and wheels. Won't be spending $10k, though--that's for sure!

JTso's TSX did 0-60 about 1.5 seconds faster, ~6.3 seconds. Looks nice, but it seems they're going in the wrong direction regarding performance.
