Keeping the new car smell
#3
No eating, dont smell bad, dont roll down my window, use the AC/heat sometimes, dont smoke or I'll punch you in the face, just sit and look straight.
I've had my car since September of 03', still smells like I got it the first day.

Old fart
as long as you keep your interior clean and air out anything that you bring inside (aside from smoking cause that'll say no matter what) your car should still carry some of the new car smell. Other people who have sat in my car says my car still smells brand new...I think I'm just used to the smell so I don't smell it unless I don't drive it for a couple weeks

You realize that the new car smell is actually the smell of plastizers, glues, and other items that are volatilizing out? It's not exactly the healthy thing to breath, but I understand where you are coming from.
The best way is the leather condition smell. The Zaino bro's leather conditioner treatment has a great leather smell sort of speak to it that smells like the "new car smell." Plus, you gain the benefit of having conditioned seats and panels.

Another Zaino fan here. Their leather cleaner + conditioner smell great.
I never thought so much about it with my 04 TSX because other stuff had killed off the new car smell (spilling spaghetti sauce into front passenger footwell, tomato that rolled under passenger seat and decayed into a pile of gunk) but nowadays I'm kinda anal and make sure that all food goes in the trunk. I work in a research facility and some days I have to work with animals. Those days I'll bike to work or if I drive I'll bring a change of clothes and shower.
