B1 Service

Any of you guys/gals with a 2006 got a B1 service on the maintenance minder? I have about 4800 miles on it and it just came up. I looked it up in the owner’s manual and it states the normal stuff (oil change, tire rotation) but it also states inspect tire rods, etc. I was just wondering how much are you guys paying for this at dealerships, and if it is really necessary to inspect all this stuff with just 5000 miles on the car.

I have this, too (4800 miles on mine too). It's going in tomorrow morning, so I'll let you know how much it ends up being.

I had the service done yesterday at Acura Calrland here in Atlanta. The service was great I got a TL loaner for the day. The best part is they did not charge me for the service said this one was on the house. I am now spoiled and am sure to use Acura Carland for all my service needs. A great first impression.

As for the TL loaner, I am so glad I got this car for the day. It was a 2006 TL auto with navi. I am now even happier with my TSX. The pick up is the only thing in my opinion the TL has going for it. The car is just too big does not handle as well and the navi is slower. Not to bash any TL owners, the TL is a nice car just not the one for me.

I just got back from the dealership, and my service was free, too. It says on my paperwork that the total was about $38, so I guess that's not too bad if I had had to pay it.
