K24A4 VTEC transition?

Hey all,
I'm still trying to find out when VTEC kicks in on my Accord. I seem to think it might be 4500 rpm but it's so smooth I really can't tell. People have tried to tell me there is no VTEC transition (that it's variable) but that doesn't make sense does it? Both the Si and S2000, for example, switch to the higher profile cam lobs at 6K right? So what is the changeover rpm for my Accord???

Thanks in advance,
Slats

The TSX has i-VTEC whereas the S2000 has regular ol' VTEC.
