Just Put A Deposit!!!!!

The day has finally come. After months and months of research, I finally put a down payment on a 2005 Nighthawk Black Pearl TSX Automatic w/ Ebony Interior and Navigation System!!!!!! The car was pre-ordered already and should be coming in Mid March. You don't know how excited I am. I think I got a great price on it too! Here's the summary:

$27,525 Total Price
$29,095.25 OTD Price

Includes All Season Floor Mats and Wheel Locks.

What do you guys think? Pretty damn good price huh!!?!?!?!?

I'm not going to "Sign" into the Signon Thread until I receive the car, but I'm counting down the days until I do. WHOO HOO!!!!!! Whose the man??? I'm the man biznatch! LOL

Congrats! I was in the same boat as you. I finally put down a deposit two weeks ago, and the ETA for the car was today...but unfortunately it changed to the 2/4/05. Now I'm hoping Friday is finally the big day... I can't wait and I know you can't too! I'm upgrading from a nissan sentra 1993 1.6L. The engine has about 160K miles and it is slowly dying.

LOL! I just wanted to make sure I did my research before I went to the dealership. I didn't want to go in there and get man handled because I wasn't knowledgeable.

Oh, for those interested, I'll be upgrading from a 1998 Black on Tan Auto Integra LS. To me, its a HUGE step up!

R.I.P. Integra.

Congrats man, you'll be happy with your purchase.

AND, you'll miss the majority of the crappy weather this winter. Next winter is a different story.

So which dealer did you finally end up going to? Boston ? Seekonk?
Curious as I've had some email dealings with Seekonk lately too.

I went with Acura of Framingham because it was closer and they have one coming in by mid march. I could of gone with Seekonk, but its a hell of a drive there and they said that they would have to swap for it and someone would drive the car to the dealership which would of been like 40-60 miles. I didn't want anyone to drive my car.

Ed Lopes (Internet Sale Manager) from Seekonk was very good to deal with. He really wanted my business and was doing everything to get it, but in the end Acura of Framingham matched the price which worked out great. If you want the car with no extras he said he would do $27,393, but if you want Wheel Locks and All Season Mats then it would be $27,499. Just let him know that Wilson Kwong referred you to him. He'll treat you right even though I didn't purchase with him, he still was a very honest salesman.

I would speak with Rod Eymael from Acura of Framingham. He's new to the dealership, but he came from a Honda Dealership. He's a young guy, I think either in his late 20s or early 30s but he was really cool and if you've done your research then he'll work with you to get down to the price you want. I just kept bringing back the quote from Seekonk and he matched it with no problem. I actually went in to speak with Jimmy Goon (Internet Sales Manager), but I asked Rod to let me and my friend go for a test drive. During the drive, we all got along so I told him that I'd negotiate with him if he wanted to, so that's how I met Rod. Cool guy, still needs to know the ins and outs of the Acura lineup, but still knowledgable and will help to get down to your price. Just be patient. The GM of Acura of Framingham is really cool too. He ended up stopping by last night and my father and I spoke with him for a long time.

LOL, a 6MT would of been nice, but I drive 20 miles to work and traffic is sometimes a problem. Plus, I'm not a speed freak so I went with the Auto. If I really wanted all performance and handling, I would of gone with a WRX.

Thanks everybody! Its been a long 3 months of research but its well worth the wait because I'm very happy with the deal! Now I just have to wait a few more weeks and then my baby will be here.

The Kit will definitely be installed most likely within the first month I have the car. Its a matter of how long it takes the Acura Dealer on Ebay to send it to me.

AChangeOfSeasons - One thing that made me want to get from Seekonk was that they said that they could get my combo within a week. They said that they had 2 CG Auto TSXs with Navigation already on their lot, so if you were interested in those colors and want the TSX right away, I would go make a road trip down there. Obviously, call them to make sure first.

If you go to Acura of Framingham go to either one that I mentioned above. Since I just dealt with them, they'll remember me. If you do your homework on the car then there's nothing that can get by you by the salesman. I basically knew more than Rod, but that's just because he just got transferred to Acura from Honda. And if you've got real quotes from other dealerships, then they'll most likely match it. If it doesn't work right away, try the end of February or any end of the month. I went yesterday which was the 31st and at 7pm...an hour before they closed, LOL.

Do you know what, it would of been an even better deal if I had not gotten the All Season Mats. If it was just wheel locks, I would of been quoted: $27,393. I could of purchased the All Season Mats on Ebay for $80! F ME!

I still love my Integra and do you know what??? My parents want to keep it to use as a daily driver to save miles on their new Volvo XC! So I still get to drive it sometimes

I really hope March comes soon, its only been a few days, but I'm already going nuts waiting for it! LOL

I kept on getting a great quote from First Acura in Seekonk, MA and I kept on bringing it back to Herb Connolly Acura in Framingham, MA and they matched it! Keep in mind that it was January 31st and at 7pm...last hour of the last day of the month. Definitely advise anyone interested in purchasing one to wait until month end. You'll get a great deal!

Right now, here are my immediate plans:

1. Tint the windows 35% all around
2. OEM Kit
3. Full Lowering Kit (Springs, Shocks, Camber Kit)
4. M3 Rear Lip

I may be purchasing my bro's old wheels that he had on his WRX for cheap, but if not, then I'll hold off on wheels until summertime I think. I am also thinking about picking up the Greddy Evo2 Catback.
