Ok! Since I get soooo much flack for not having a body kit and keeping my black mud flaps, I have been in search of a body kit.
After watching Ebay for a few weeks I finally came accross what seemed to be a good deal. I picked up a "knock-off" Kenstyle body kit for $618 shipped. I talked to the guy and he said it's the exact same as the kenstyle kit. It comes with the front bumper/mesh grill, 2 side skirts, and the rear skirt. So I bought it.
But before I bought it I did a few things since I am a little skeptical about the kit being different than what I expect. 1. I called my credit card company and asked them the stop payment policy to ensure full refund if the kit isn't what I expect. Check! 2. Next I copied the page of the auction for my own personal gratification. Then I selected "Buy It Now"
I will be the

Will report back once received!!!

Good luck to ya man. I hope it's everything that you hope for....I might have done the same thing if I had the money to spend right now. I'll pray that you don't get taken...I know it's a real worry with these crazy Ebayers.

make sure the bodyshop works well with fiberglass as well...i bought a cheap-o bodykit for my accord once and 2 bodyshops would not touch it stating the quality of the fiberglass was too poor....

Thx guys! Just got done talking to them and paying for it. It sounds pretty good. I saw another guy online selling Kenstyle kits for like $650, I wonder if it was the knock off?
No body shop required! Instead of the body shop I am looking for a new gravity feed spray gun since my old gun(bottom feed) needs to be rebuilt anyway. I like to buy the new toys/tools and do it myself I will however research the best place to buy Acura SSM paint and clear coat.

I've seen the kenstyle kit in person. The fiberglass is really really thin. I'm sure the paint will spider-web from the flexing. I held the bumper up to the light, and you can see the light shine through the bumper.
The edges weren't sharp. You'll have difficulty getting the oem chrome trim from the grille to fasten onto the knockoff bumper.

As far as the grill fitting, it's suppose to come with a grill already. We shall see

You're right it does come with the grille. But I'm talking about the chrome trim that goes around the perimeter of the grille.

Guess what came in the mail today?
Well.....
It doesn't come with fog lights or a Mugen Style Grill! Fog lights I didn't expect, but I really wanted an open faced mesh grill, and you have to use the stock chrome piece, I can still modify it a bit. The actuall kit needs a bit of prep for paint. It has a rough finish and could still use light body filler. It is pretty thick fiberglass though. I am very happy with the sturdiness of it. The rear bumper skirt doesn't seem to fit that well though. The part where the skirt meets the bumper is about a 1/4 inch thick and leaves a big lip there. I didn't have a chance to really get to it as you could see by the fading sunlight. The sides skirts didn't really blow me away, but I haven't found a set that have yet. But I will get in to it more tomorrow morning. If all goes well I'll have the kit on by Monday morning. Enjoy!

BTW, Hope it's a good fit. Oh yeah... I have a Kenstyle and I didn't bother forkin out an extra $450 for the Raybrig fog lights. Not to mention the drivers side hole is RIGHT in front of my Comptech Icebox velocity stack rendering it Ram-air.

I just got back in from checking out the kit again and I am getting excited. I like it! But theres alot of prep work that needs to be done just to paint it but in general I am very pleased. The grill will most likely get modified (Yes it is part of the bumper, but you need to use the stock chrome piece that runs around it.). I'm thinking of cutting the bottom 2 horizontal bars in the grill area, but keeping the emblem/logo mount. Then putting a mesh black mesh background.
The rear skirt just doesn't seem like it's gonna fit right. Anyone got good pics of their rear bumper on a Kenstyle kit?
Canyon you using the rear skirt? I thought you had some different sides or sumpn?

It took about 15 minutes of sanding select spots to get it to fit right, but it still needs sanding in a couple of spots and some glass in others for that perfect fit. Looks good so far. All of the bolt and snap spots have to be drilled out and the OEM chrome trim for the grill doesn't seem to fit perfecty yet. The Fog light holes are about 3 5/8" and the other squarish hole is 4.5" wide. Decided not to do any major mods to the grill though.
