You'll have to get the vacuum attachment with a #2 brush nozzle and get in each of perf seat holes. Otherwise the sand will scratch the seat foam and your leather from underneath. I think Oreck sells it.

vomit

Same thing happened in my Benz. My dog puked 2x in the back seat in one ride. Disgusting stuff and the smell was awful.

Did the best I could with paper towels and wet naps thingies. Sprayed the whole seat with Lysol and then left windows open for 3 weeks. No way to get into the perf holes or the crevices. But the smell is gone and the seat is completely dry with no bad effects. BTW, the MB seats are MBTex (vinyl) so I didn't have any staining problems. Good thing about plastic.

Ya... me too... smell wasn't that bad... and the seat is fine. I wanna see if there's a way to get rid of the thing inside the holes...

When I first got my MB I re-upholstered the front seat myself to change the box spring. It took 5 hours since I was on my own and have never taken one off before. Anyways, it's the only way to get the crud out. Plus, there was a fabric lining between the cover and the foam so that might have to be washed or replaced as well.

Not worth it unless it really bothers you.

Well, I treat my dogs like my family members and as long as I keep their paws clean and they are well taught to remain seated, then I guess they belongs to any cars any time.
