Someone complimented my car!

Everyday I arrive at work there seems to be a group of men sitting outside doing God knows what but anyways they usually bother me (i.e. when I get out of my car they honk or whistle) anyways. Today one of them was parked next to me and Im thinking "Oh great, hes going to try to talk to me" and he did but the first thing he says is "your car is beautiful" I was like thank you! I love when people compliment my car. He got a major and then he just asked me how much it was and stuff and when I was leaving he ruined the moment when I was walking away he had to bother me "yeah your car sure is beautiful, just like you" I just smiled and walked away.
He should have just left it at my car being beautiful and we would have been just fine

Why are guys such idiots sometimes. Do you honestly think I am going to talk to you when you hoot and holler and whistle at me. Um

I think telling a girl she is beautiful or has a nice smile is a compliment. I can understand the whistles and such not being cool. Just my

The car compliment was just small talk. He was tryin to holla! I bet he could care less about your car and was truely trying to get in that

 

I appreciate the compliment but you have to understand everyday they honk their horn at me and whistle, that is so unattractive.
I believe when my boyfriend calls me beautiful. not when some guy who honks his horn at me does.

 

I agree. IMO I think pictures of you next to your car would be an ample way for us to understand exactly why this "group of guys" whistle and honk at you or your car. After which, a from the appropriate department will follow up with you once your case is resolved.

I love it when chicks "complain" when they get unwanted attention. Just be glad you were made beautiful that we notice. I have no idea how you look but from your posts you give the impression that guys are always making moves on you from valets to guys at the office. So again, be thankful and enjoy it for what its worth as long as they don't go over the line. You can always skip the makeup and pretty clothes if you want to go unnoticed.

And maybe, just for once, they really like your car???

Attention is nice but if guys are seriously interested I would give them a chance if they werent disrespectful in the process. Honestly, I would rather have a guy be quiet than whistle at me. Seriously. I think there are much better ways of showing someone you are interested in them.

I have no problem if they didnt find me attractive and just thought my car was nice. It was until he had to say "your car is beautiful just like you" when I wanted to throw up. If he would have just had said that and him and his friends didnt always honk, whistle and yell things to me everyday I would have been a lot nicer.

Nobody understands where I am coming from on this?

ok let me twist it. If a girl was saying "damn youre fine" or whistling and making noises and yelling to you, would you seriously give her a chance at even getting to know you or hook up with her? Seriously.

If you are beautiful and drive a Neon, then I wouldn't say a word. If you are beautiful and drive a 911, then I still wouldn't say a word. Now that you are beautiful and drive a TSX, I would have complimented both you and the car 3 years ago while I was still single, but the car didn't exist then, and so I still wouldn't say a word.

 

Maybe he was just trying to butter you up so you would let him fondle your tsx....

I think there is a reason why you were so offended. He wasn't good looking enough. That's the key thing you left out. If the guy was good looking you'd blush and gush the news to all your girlfriends about him.

Because he was not your type, you feel violated because an "ugly" dude tried to pick you up. I use "ugly" only as a reference ... I really only mean that he's not your type.

Thanks I have no shame in admitting, they aren’t that big. Only B. But at least they are a good shape (not missile looking, hahah) and perky and wont be all saggy later on. Plus my other ASSets make up for it. I got some junk in the trunk
