It looks like it can be had for about the price of a TSX. As a person who is in the market for a new car in the 30ish price range, this car looks pretty good. Anyone else cross shopping this car with a 06 TSX?

It's a nice car, but I don't like the styling. Looks like a big ass Corolla. (I love saying big ass!!! :gheylaugh: )

But Jetta's drive very nicely. I love how German cars feel so solid. Didn't drive the new one, but drove the one before it and it's so damn quiet and smooth.

i just came from a 2001 jetta 1.8t with 40000 miles on it. liked everthing about it but it was a POS. i owned it for only 6 months it was in the shop 10 times in 6 months
first week of owning it it got stuck in park and had to get towed to the dealer.
week 2 the water pump went bad and had to get towed.mass airflow sensor went bad both windows fell into the doors. some of the wrose things that would happen if the EPC light would come on all the time and when this happened you lose your gas peddal and brakes very scary, allot of times driving on the parkway at 65 the car would just shut off on you. i would never buy a volks wagen agiain

Since VW moved some of their operations down to mexico,.......like the jetta if I remember correctly....they have gone downhill in terms of reliability etc.

I was thinking of a GLI but an '04.5 or '05. I hate the new big azz corolla looking thing they just came out with. They are trying to give them away, due to how ugly they are. VW messed up on the V, and that is all there is to it.
