Jerkiness using cruise control

Ok so I use the cruise on my commute and before it was super smooth, but now when I hit certain dips the tranny will act like its downshifting, not sure what's happening. I checked the fluid and it's still good, level is right- any ideas?

I'm not sure if anything actually changed or you're just now noticing, but going downhill the car will use the engine to brake and keep you at the same speed. It's not drastic (something like 100 rpms), but I can feel mine do it.

How deep are the dips? IIRC, the cruise control system can detect the angle of the car and downshift if it thinks you're going too fast on a descent. Maybe when you hit the dips, the car angles down enough to trigger the system?

Yeah I bet it's the grade logic getting a little too sensitive, but thing is its the same mild dips that I travel daily and never had problems before.

I had the exact same problem with mine (6MT) but dealer could not duplicate the feat when I had it in for service.
