Hello again.

Sorry for creating a second thread but I've just bought these those new White LED License plate bulbs. Are they any good? Would they be like in the picture? I've only spent $11 on them with shipping included. Hopefully they will have that Lexus look. And are they a pain replacing?

 

I also got some LEDs for my plate bulbs. I thought that they looked great and were bright and very similar to the Lexus', but they blew out so fast that I decided to just leave them stock. I didn't want to keep replacing these LEDs all the time. I thought they would last longer. It's not hard to replace, but it is a pain to reach in there.

 

I'll be happy if they would work for 3 months lol. For the price I paid, I don't expect much. But I do want that Lexus look

 

ive had mine for about 4 months and they are still working fine

 

got mine from superbrightleds.com.. it's been over 6 months now, still works great.

 

I put 1 Watt LEDs in there about 2 years ago and it's still working.

 

but do they actually give that Lexus look? Or is it crap?

 

so if its not the lexus look then its crap? isn't this a TSX forum??

No. I just want the Lexus license plate lights look for my TSX. That's all now need to be all buggy for it.

 

i recently got some and they have to much of a blue tint, not as white as id like.

considering putting in some 12" ccfl bars across the trunk, like some TLs have those look like they'd be just as good as lexus

 

I've had PIAA LEDs in there for over two years (and on other vehicles), before I've even seen a Lexus with it...

i got the super white from superbrightleds.com and I only had them for about 4 days but I already love them.

 

the thing is that I need to wait until the first of June to install them, because they will only arrive then... But are the lights like narrow and not wide? or wide like the lexus?

it's one of the first mods, maybe the easiest mod to do.
i've had LED white license plate lights for ~2 yrs. working perfectly fine.

 

I thought there was already a very extensive thread on this. Search is your friend (even if it is limited to 1 search per 60 seconds).
