I was at my local Acura dealer this past week and asked my service advisor if they could now install MusicLink in my '06 TSX. He claimed a new upgraded wiring harness would be available in January that would work. Has anyone else heard anything like that?

 

I haven't heard anything like that, but if anyone hears of this being available for the '06, please post the info. I'm definitely interested!

 

Is this the new upgraded version from the last one which had alot of bugs!

 

I talked with my salesman today as I'm debating between the 06 and 07. He said not available on the 06 but that the 07 does have it but they're waiting for a software update before they will start selling it.

So, it sounds like they are indeed expecting an update soon.

I want to know if this, or anything else, will work on an 06 with the exact same functionality as it does on the 07.

 

It is my understanding that the reason for the software update is because TTS and iTunes 7.0.2 don't play well together. See, example

Does the music link player allow you to see the MP3 ID3 info on the navi screen?

 

For all you people waiting for this expensive piece of junk, just get the usa spec unit!
