I never really consider an iPod but when I saw the Nano on the TV I'm sold! Now I just gotta wait and see if the iPod integration makes it way to the 04/05.

My wife is amzed at how thin and cool the iPod Nano is too! So very good chance I would get that since the WA is virtually set, maybe in time for Christmas too

If the Acura iPod Integration is available for 04/05 as a dealer retro-fit upgrade, does that mean we can use voice command to control the iPod? Even if my TSX has no Nav and no voice commands feature?

I just don't see me spending $250 for this. That's about what I spent on my 40gig iPod and will be more than what I will be spending on the iPod Mini for my wife! I'll just stick with the iPod in the cup holder, but I am happy to see the '06s added an aux input.

Hope you end up getting the Nano. It looks super nice!

Unfortunately you probably won't be able to use voice control of the Ipod if there is a retrofit because the Non-navi models don't have the voice command controls on the steering column. Unless they include that with a retro-fit kit, I don't think its possible.

Damn! I was hoping the Acura iPod Integration "plug-in" piece would come with the voice command hardward/software. Guess I'll ask around for more details when they are more available and clear...

I did some google research on the Nano and it looks pretty sharp. It doesn't have all of the bugs worked out and has some limitations, but all in all looks pretty good. The battery looks like it needs to be replaced at a service outlet and isn't cheap. I'm still waiting to see a nano up close, so I can see if I can read the fonts on the 1.5" screen.

It uses flash memory which is the wave of the future. I can see that in two to three years, many laptops will use flash memory instead of hard drives.

My reading also said that the average number of songs that iPod users have on their iPods is 350. If I buy a nano, it will likely be the cheaper 2Gb one as I see this unit almost as a throw away one. By the time it comes to replacing the battery, the advancements in iPods will be amazing and I would likely just get another new one. I also don't need more than 500 songs. With a 6 disc CD player, 500 songs and the radio, I think I have my music needs covered.

Excited

"The average number of songs that iPod isers have on their iPods is 350."

That means I'm not average with 962 songs on my iPod (I know a couple of people with several thousand songs on their iPods).

Anyway, will the TSX have two ports : one for all MP3 players and the Acura Music Link port for the iPod if you have it installed ? (or will the aux. jack be replaced when you have the Acura Music Link installed by your dealer)

People in Europe are poor. They can't spend much and they won't spend much That's why. We in the America are different. We buy as much yunk as we can. We trade in cell phones like there is no tomorrow. Sign up another year and they will give us a new cell phone for free.

Cell phones in North America are so behind as well! Look at Japan, Hong Kong... people are literally changing phones to the latest models every few months!! Can't compare that with them.

I've got it for my Nissan Pathfinder. I would NOT buy it again. Scrolling through artists is EXTREMELY slow through the head unit. It takes about 5-7 minutes to get to artists that are in the middle of the alphabet.
