when you connect the ipod to the tsx does it use the ipod battery? or does the car uses power to power it?

 

depends how you connect. If you are just using the Aux jack, the answer is no, the car doesn't charge the ipod.

 

umm if yiou don't see the battery charging indicator then you're running on battery

 

so theres another way to connect the ipod?

 

Yea, just buy the Music Link from Honda...Ask HollywoodTSX about it...He loves it...

Specifically look at the links in the 2nd post from the top. I use the Belkin link and the shielded audio cable -- works great.

You can't control the Ipod thru the car stereo, but with the adaptors, it'll stay charged and connect thru the aux jack in your center console.
