i have been reading through the forums and taking a look at some of the IPOD integration products. I was just wondering is there a product that is compatible with a 2004 Acura TSX Navigation that will integrate with the steering wheel and also display the song/artist on the display? Everything i have seen so far seems to point to no. i just wanted to be positive that i am not missing anything before i settle for something less.

as far as i know, the isimple wont display text unless you happen to have one of the rare 04's with satellite radio.

answering your initial question, i dont think there is a product for the 04's that will display text. the usaspec adapter will allow use of steering wheel controls and fast forward / rewind on the dash unit. However, you have to use the ipod to select songs and playlists (except when going to the next song, just use steering wheel or dash).

i got mine from integrationsolutions and it works really well. I have been happy with the product for months.

From what I know the 04 TSX is the only model that doesn't support text to be displayed. The Dice ipod unit for example only displays text only on 05-08 TSX that came with XM radio. Since the 2004 TSX didn't come with XM thats why its text is not supported on the 2004 TSX.

I'm interested in the iSimple also. I have an 2005 Non navi and it looks like it can keep XM and still be able to place the text on my display.

^^^Sav - it'll work w/ yours... you'll see the text display on the clock lcd, and you'll be able to keep XM with no compromise.

ok, i just bought the iSimple even though i have a 04' navi. i have read that it works but the text wont display which is fine with me. can anyone help on explaining how to hook it up? i got the storage bin in the center of the console out, where do i go from there?
