Arrow Introduction from Tanabe!

Greetings TSX owners!

We are happy to become a member of the Acurazine online community, and a supporter of Acurazine.com!

For those not familiar with us,

Tanabe USA is the US branch of Tanabe Racing Development, a Japanese performance parts manufacturer. Tanabe was founded nearly 25 years ago in 1982, by Mr. Suteo Tanabe. It was during this time, from the 1970’s to the early 1980’s that the Japanese sports car, and a completely new type of vehicle, the sports compact, would emerge on the world stage as a serious competitor against the dominant US and European automakers.

There were very few Japanese performance parts manufacturers over 20 years ago, and Tanabe was one of those very few that would assist the Japanese car manufacturers by developing parts for motorsports use. Tanabe quickly grew to be a respected member of the Japanese performance community, and would assist in the foundation of numerous associations such as JASMA (Japan Sports Muffler Association) and would become involved in motorsports such as N1 Endurance, and JTCC.

Tanabe is a unique type of manufacturer that specializes in a wide variety of high quality parts, from suspension and chassis, to exhaust components—all of these parts are manufactured strictly in Japan-- and virtually all parts are manufactured in-house at our factory in Shiga Japan. One of the more distinctive features about the Tanabe manufactured product line is that all of the products are manufactured with ISO9001 certification. ISO is essentially a group of extremely strict guidelines and worldwide standards to ensure quality manufacturing. Because of the difficulty in obtaining this, there are surprisingly very few manufacturers who actually have this.

The Tanabe product line ranges from automotive lifestyle and street performance products, to pure motorsports developed applications. There are many new products scheduled to be released this year, and in 2006.

We will be posting information regarding the TSX, as well as technical information on the products we have available! We will also be posting technical information based on some of the R&D we have performed on the chassis, as well as any other useful information that can assist the TSX owner and enthusiast!

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to send email to info@tanabe-usa.com and we will do our best to assist you!

PLEASE go to the suspension forum and answer all the questions people have about the Tanabe coilover options for the TSX. I think there are a bunch of potential customers just waiting for concrete, accurate info.

Actually, Tanabe will be here to give us all technical info we need, and then more. They will not sell anything directly. If you need to buy Tanabe products, as is the case with Hondata, you will be referred to one of our vendors, for example Excellerate.

Welcome here Tanabe! Looking forward to the added insight you will give us.

Now all we need is an Ultra Medallion application, so that you can send me a free one for "analysis."

Welcome Tanabe!!!
I'm wondering who this is exactly, though not important. Glad to see you here and hope to see you soon for more R&D on your new exhaust line coming out...
