Interior Mirror

I just have a simple question that I thought maybe I could get some feed back. During the recent warm weather we had in Southern CA, I noticed when I drove my vehicle after it had been parked in the sun for about 4-5 hrs, the interior rear view mirror vibrated over any slight bump, it was severe enough where it was hard to determine what kind of vehicle was behind me. When I called the local dealer that had stated it was due to the heat and was a normal condition. Now, I have owned several vehicles and never seemed to have this problem with those vehicles. I also work for GM and Hummer and I don't see them exhibiting that condition either. Thought someone may have some feed back on this "problem".

Thanks.
