Interior Dial Illumination

how hard is it to change the green illumination of the controls? i think a red/dark amber would look really nice to go along with the blue ambient lighting.

I'm pretty sure the lighting on the HVAC unit is all surface mount LED so it wouldnt' be an easy swap.

I remember someone did this on their Accord V6 and an older 3.2TL - changed them to blue LEDs - looked great, but it also appeared to be a MAJOR project - taking out the centre console, armrests etc...I'm sure your local body/mod shop would do it, but it might cost you some labor $$.

so does a surface mount LED mean that i have to change the LED for each control dial? i had a feeling it'd be more of a pain in the neck to do this.

Yes.

I believe that each one of the lights is soldered on to a circuit board which would be a major PITA to replace.

If a local boady shop can do it .. i would defintely give a try ... i think blue/white will go well with the interior.
