Insurance Rates?

Hey i was just wondering what everyones insurance for this car looked like. I'm interested in purchasing one but I don't know if I would be able to if the rates are through the roof. I know we're all different but i just wanted a general idea. I'm not asking for any real personal info but your age and gender would help a lot. thanks!

btw you all have some beautiful cars!

27/Male/Married and I pay about $70 a month. To give you some kind of comparison, I traded in a 2003 VW GTI to get the TSX and my insurance went down $5 bux a month.

I don't own yet, but I called my insurance agent for quotes comparing the TSX with other vehicles. I've been looking at small SUV's as well for hobby equipment reasons. I was quoted roughly $300, $400, and $500 more per year over what I'm currently paying for a CR-V, Rav4, and TSX respectively.

32, single, currently driving 95 Taurus.

you need more insurance, ask your agent for 250/500/100 coverage. with thoes levels your likely to get sued

I disagree, the guy is only 22 and probably does not have assests exceeding $300k, and probably is not anywhere in the ballpark.

A common problem is people overbuy insurance.

Unless you own a home or have a huge asset base, there is no need for anything for more than 100/300/50.......if that.

Check out esurance.com for the best rates. They are saving me $1300/year from GEICO. I have a horrible record although I am perfect in my TSX so far. I pay $2600/year for full coverage.

$1059 per year, AAA

24 yrs old, male, central California, single
4 cars & house on policy
good driver discount
good student discount

Not sure what the coverage is, but it's comprehensive.

Can't wait to turn 25!

It's required in CA, too. But only against 3rd party claims.

Dude...What's up with that? You must drive like shit. I will say I expected my rates to go down when I got the TSX, I was surprised they went up.
