I'm stumped. 03TLsw/navi or 04TSXw/navi???
I am a current 01 CLp owner, getting rid of my salvage title piece of sh*t . ($7k. Thanks Carmax!)
I've found a 03 TLs w/navi (anthracite) 24kmiles for $23,950. However, at CarMax, they have an 04 TSX (white) 13k miles, with navi for $26,900.
Would you guys spend the extra $2900 and get the TSX?
It's not really the color I want, and it's a 4-cyl, but the Navi and guages are awesome! I like the size of the TLs, and the power, of course. I'm already use to 225hp, I couldn't imagine going down to 200hp in the TSX; BUT, it's a 2004. I know the TLs is a move up from my CLp, but is the TSX a farther move up?
Is the TSX worth it?

Well - as a fellow Raleigh, NC and UNC fan (and maybe even alumnus like myself) ... it really sounds like you are leaning heavily towards the TL-S. It looks dated I suppose, but it is a very powerful and roomy car if that is what you need. If you can sacrifice power/space for handling and an updated look ... go for the TSX. It is quite torquey for a 4-cylinder and handles like a dream compared to the TLS/CLS/CL/TL.

Thanks for the info, provench. Go Heels...grad'd in 01.
I haven't driven either yet. I'll probably drive the TSX tomorrow evening. It's hard to find a 03TLs with Navi, and the closest one I have found is in Charlotte, NC. I really want to play with the Navi in the 03 TLs, to see if it's anything special. I know that the new Navi systems are awesome! I'll probably drive a non-navi TLs just to compare and contrast.
I can't find ANY info on the net about the 03 navi's features. I was hoping to find an instruction manual or something, for I don't even know if it has voice recognition.
I just wish the TSX was a different color. The white with the light silver rims seems a bit plain, pretty much like an accord that was put in a vice. and made narrow.
When I drive the two, I'll let ya know what I think.

Yeah ... cool ... I am an old man ... graduated in '95
Don't forget to check around (search and/or post) on https://acurazine.com/forums/special-interest-21/ if you have any specific questions on 2nd gen TL (2003 included) and those guys will be glad to help I am sure.

if you want to have similar power to your CL, get the TL.
if you want better handling with less power compared to your CL, get the TSX.
I'd still get the TSX since it's got enough power for everyday driving
and the navi (center console) is better

The TL-S is a nice car, some may say getting dated but that's really a matter of personal preference. TL-S has more power and more room, but the interior of the TSX is light years ahead of an '03 TL-S though - quality of materials is much nicer (just look at the headliner) and the cockpit is a bit more inviting overall, IMO.
